Public Notice is hereby given that the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Town Council Chambers, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 7:30 p.m., when the following applications will be heard:
Deric and Peache Walker, 12 Bliss Street, Requests a variance from Sections 205.3(a) & 214.2(c) Reconstruction of Nonconforming Structures and Accessory Structures, to rebuild a garage structure on the existing concrete slab, 3 ft. from the side property line and 2 ft. from the rear property line. (Zone R-4)
Charles Garen, 156 Mallard Drive, Requests a variance from Section 302.5(c) Yards, to construct a deck connected to both the house and pool, leaving 25 ft. to the rear property line, requiring a variance of 15 ft. (Zone R-2)
